In an increasingly competitive and ever-changing economy, companies, employed workers/employees, and liber* professionals must be able to adapt to rapid technological changes and new market challenges. 

Training is the priority competitive advantage, which is indispensable to improve the efficiency and quality of products/services. 

It is the investment that allows you to acquire tools that help you advance professionally, stay abreast of the latest industry trends, develop adaptability and find innovative solutions to stand out from the competition, but in line with economic and social changes.

To promote the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, the Lombardy Region has allocated 30 million euros earmarked for the "Continuing Education" plan, which makes available:

  • a training voucher worth 2 thousand euros per individual worker who can take advantage of one or more courses until the allocated quota is reached;
  • For each beneficiary enterprise a maximum of 50 thousand euros expendable on an annual basis. 

The maximum cost reimbursable to the enterprise for the use of the pathways differs according to the level of skills to be acquired:

  • EQF between 6 and 8: up to €2,000.00 per worker;
  • EQF between 4 and 5: up to €1,500.00 per worker;
  • EQF 3: up to €800.00 per worker.

Funds from the "Call for Continuing Education Phase VI" are aimed at:

  • Female and male employees of companies of all sizes
  • Freelancers and self-employed persons practicing both on a self-employed and associated basis with tax domicile in Lombardy
  • Owners, partners of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Lombardy
  • Employees or helpers of the entrepreneur of family businesses, business enterprises and the working partners of business and enterprises in corporate forms, including artisans as recipients;
  • Member-workers of cooperatives
  • Owners of sole proprietorships
