What should you prioritize when launching a new project?
Launching a new project means facing a lot of challenges and also spending a lot of money
The question is, what to prioritize?

Let’s start with a reflection that arose from some conversations over the past few days, hoping it will be useful a bit to all* 😉
It often happens that I talk to people who want to launch something new but have little money available.
Obviously this is a normal, I would say very normal condition-no need to worry.
Launching a new project means facing a lot of challenges and also spending a lot of money
The question is, what to prioritize?
The answer I often hear: the website!
I think this is a mistake, and it is the point I want to make in this post.
🤔 Does the site matter? I would say yes
🤔 Is the site indispensable? It seems so, almost always
🤔 Is the site the first thing? No, I would say no, almost never
>> Here’s the point:
If you want to do advertising you necessarily need a page to land people on, if you want to be autonomous with respect to social networks you need to have recognition and therefore a web page, if you want to form partnerships, find collaborators, etc., you need a web page
Okay, but when do you get this? In the beginning? I would say no!
Then if money is tight it is better to focus on priorities, here a list of things that in my opinion come before the site:
- Define your identity and positioning, understood as how your project solves an important problem for a possibly large number of people in an innovative and defensible way (i.e., it is difficult for others to copy you)
- Talk to people, starting with those closest to you, to see if your assumptions are reflected in their perceptions or if you have made* it all up
- Create a community for free in Facebook and Instagram to find audience, talk to them and build brand
- Prepare test products to launch in community, without really creating them–just basic info to see people’s response
- Collect pre-registrations
- Prepare technical direction, put suppliers under contract, define business plan
- Create the website and e-commerce
This is the Apical method, that is, the opposite of what 99% of people do, same things – opposite order. 🔥
Moral:
The site is important but it is of no use to you if you have not done the first 6 points.
The sequence with which you approach the goals makes the difference more than anything else
According to our calculations you need €7k to launch well from scratch, professionally
For all these reasons, the Pilot Program exists, and registration is underway for the seventh edition starting in April!
